well remember, youre only in middle school, so you dont want to dress too much like an adult, or too much older than your age, a mistake i think alot of young girls are making these days. i guess what i can tell you, is that a great pair of jeans can take you anywhere. if a pair of jeans fits you well, are comfortable, and are appropriate for your body tpe, youre good to go. but never try to be something youre not. wear whatever you feel confident in. confidence = coolness in my book.I need girl advice. please help?
I remember the akwardness in middle school, but I also remember that was the year I became a ';cool kid';. I would just stay up on todays style. Rock some clothes that you see at the mall, just dont go to extreme and make sure you feel comfortable in them. Oh and for your face, if your parents can afford it get some proactive, it works great and will make you more confident. I know it is tuff to fit in sometimes but just remember that you are just perfect the way you are!!

Oh and I always like to do something totally different with my hair, try a new style or cut!! good luck girl!!

Just be yourself. Dress in what you like and are comfortable in and be glad that you have friends and just chill with them. You dont want to start trying to dress a certain way in order to ';fit in'; and look ';cool'; cause in the end, you will be giving off a false impression of who you are. When you get a little older and get out of grade school and high school, you will discover that most people could care less about how you dress, they care more about having a good personality.
ok, I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but here we go:

-be yourself! trying to be someone else will just end in losing self-confidence, self-knowledge, possibly some of your greatest friends, etc. don't care too much about what people think, because the people who don't like you don't matter in the end.

-wear what you think is cute/fun and not necessarily what ';everyone else'; is wearing. if you need inspiration, look through magazines and stuff but don't copy exactly what the models wear because that's just tacky. and don't break the school dress code.

-if your parents and school allow it and you personally want to, wear SOME makeup. don't overdo it, because that's just tacky. A little lip gloss or balm and curling your lashes (with maybe a little mascara) is nice.

-have fun and make a ton of memories!
when i was in 7th grade

i went thru the same thing.

soo no worries. im in 10th

now. but as far as dressing its all up to you

every one has their own style

its just about wear what you like

and what you feel comfortable in.

for example my style is like skinny legs and some Jordans/dunks

spike belt/chain and a tee

that may not work because thats not your style or

something your use to. just goof around

untill you find the style that is Simply you

:)
Haha weird I'm the same way. Try and make friends with the popular people maybe. Get at least one hoodie or t-shirt from Hollister and a person willl remember you as prep. And preps are the popular people. Just do what the cool kids do. And that doesn't mean drugs or sex. Don't change who you are though.
I don't think you can dress how people that don't know you would tell you to dress. If you want to be ';cooler'; you need to be comfortable in your own skin, which it seems you are, AND dress as a reflection of your inner self.
