Sick Baby girl, advice appreciated!?

My baby has been sick she is 2 1/2 years old. Today is th 4 day(shes been to the doc and ER in the past few days), she hasn't thrown up in almost 26 hours and no diarrhea in 10 hours. She has been drinking (little soda, apple juice %26amp; lots of water) shes eaten some fishies. She been crying of stomach pain brought her to the doc and she checked her out and said it was cramping.. just give her tylenol which seems to help some what. She went into a screaming fest and said ';my poopy hurts'; and then you could hear his stomach turn and then she was fine.. went to change her and it was just a ton of pee! That was 3 hrs ago and she has not peed since.. she is know going through the whole cramping thing again.. and shes been drinking about the same amount as she was when she was diarrheaing but she doesn't seem to make tears anymore.. I'm very worried... pleaes tell me anything that might help!Sick Baby girl, advice appreciated!?
No, no Karo, it is for constipation.

I think she just has a bug and from what you say she is drinking, it may be hurting her stomach. Soda's can cause gas and be hard on the stomach acids esp when there is no food in there and apple juice is what you drink when are constipated so it will not help w/ the diarrhea it can make it worse.

It sound's like a lot of gas, I would try that. When it is sudden tummy aches that stop suddenly that it usually the reason. It is good she is peeing and 3 hrs is not a long time ago, I think she is on her way to getting better. She needs to drink pedialite or Gatorade, they have them in Popsicles now, lay off the soda's (unless it's diet sprite) and don't worry about eating too much now. Her appetite will improve in a day or so.Sick Baby girl, advice appreciated!?
Have you tryed giving her some kayro syrup?

Here it what you do put a teaspoon and a half in her cup with her favorite drink mix it up and give it to her. It will help.
My 3 year old had the same thing. The doctor said no to soda or any carbonated drinks... this causes the stomach to get upset. I tried the little sips of drinks esp. gatorade (sorry about the spelling)... Mine daughter was still in pain... so I took her back and they told me not to feed her anything or give her anything to drink for at least 12 hours... so whatever bug is in her body would come out - that actually worked for me. After that, you slowly start introducing the rice or toast and see how she reacts to it.

If you are concern at anytime go to the hospital, don't wait. Use your own judgement
What's her temp?

Try an after-hours clinic. There is probably one in the nearest large town. They are much faster and less expensive than the ER, but they'll send you to the ER if needed. My daughter likes the pediatric one we go to. They have satellite TV in every room so she can watch her favorite channel!

**The BRAT diet is bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast. Don't give it to her until her stomach settles.

No more goldfish until her stomach is completely settled. Tell her they are making her tummy be naughty and her tummy doesn't like them right now. Keep up with the liquids. For variety you might try Pedialyte or Gatorade or pear juice. Check the diaper again and see if it's wet.

If she doesn't wet in 5 more hours, or if she really seems dehydrated, she needs to be seen again. You'll need to stay up or get up to check on her, but you are probably doing that anyway. If she loses consciousness, call an ambulance immediately (not likely, but theoretically possible). Or you could take her to the nearest fire station with a medic, and ask the medic if she needs the ER.
my little guy (3 months) was really sick like that and I had him at the dr and ER four times in a week and there was nothing they could do. Then my almost 3 yr old got it too. It sounds like it is just a stomach bug. You could try the b.r.a.t diet. I think it is bread, rice, applesauce, and . . . I don't remember what the t is. Those are all stomach friendly foods. Just keep offering fluids so she doesn't get dehydrated and it is completely normal for little ones appetite to go away when they don't feel well. After a few days she should be ok - and possibly want to eat a ton more to make up for the last few days! Good luck - I know how hard it is when they are sick!
Shes got cramps from crying and stressing. Both of you should calm down. Put a movie on and lay down and watch it.

Give her toast with Corn syrup(it will help her have regular bowel movements, the right amount.)

Does she have a fever? if she does give her some Tylenol, don't let her wear any blanket, and cool cloths under her arm pits. If t doesn't go down, get a sheet and put cold water on it lay it on her(she needs to get cold)

Again, if its not working talk her to the ER, they will fix this.

(remember to tell them everything you did.)

If she starts throwing up give her sodium crackers. and ginger ale.

If she gets diarrhoea. she has to go as much as possible(She WILL get dehydrated if you don't give her lots of water.) She has a bug and its gotta come out.

Shes just peeing because of all the fluids.

(Check her temperature)

Get her to stop crying, its whats giving her cramps.

Get her to lay down and watch a movie or something. She needs to relax and keep her mind off of it(She can tell that your stressed out too, so you need to relax too.). It may pass.

(When you give her ginger ale stir it wil a metal spoon for about five minutes to get it flat. This will help with her stomach, and won't be so hard on her tummy.)

Hope she feels better soon! =)
