join clubs at you school start talking to girls in the so you will always have something to talk about

That is totally cool because most girls are way scared too. All you need to do is be your self every girl want someone who is honest. And as long as you are not mean to girls than that is should help you. GOOD LUCK;)

Your best bet is just to talk, make jokes, and find out what the girls that you want to be friends with like to do. Us girls have a reputation for being catty as hell, but there are some nice, friendly girls who are fun to hang out with along with being interesting.
